Supercell believes it is a fundamental human right to access art, and acknowledges the various impacts/barriers there are on people accessing art (economic, geographic, cultural, access). If you are only making art for the 1%, what’s the point.
In this Action Plan, Supercell engaged two esteemed external contractors, Daniele Constance (Aha Ensemble) and Kate Baggerson (Everybody Now) who are leaders in Access and Inclusion, to facilitate a consultation process with 10 artists, service providers and community leaders, to identify key recommendations for Supercell’s adoption.
We at Supercell acknowledge Country and Place to develop shared respect for the land where we undertake all our work. We pay respect to the people who are traditional owners and custodians of the land; pay respect to the Elders past, present; and emerging, and acknowledge the ancestors that have come before the current Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples as custodians.
